The updates listed in below apply to the 2015-2016 Argosy University Academic Catalog—Graduate Programs | Volume 6, Issue 1.
The entries below describe where the new information should be inserted. Students are encouraged to contact their academic advisor or program chair in the event they have any questions regarding changes in program requirements.
The following updates apply to Section One, Introduction
Accreditation and State Licensing
The following should be inserted following the Seattle campus under Campus Based Programs .
Argosy University, Seattle is authorized by the Washington student achievement council (the council) and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree Granting Institutions Act. This authorization is subject to periodic review and authorizes Argosy University, Seattle to offer specific degree programs. The council may be contacted for a list of currently authorized programs. Authorization by the council does not carry with it an endorsement by the council of the institution or its programs. Any person desiring information about the requirements of the act or the applicability of those requirements to the institution may contact the council at P.O. Box 43430, Olympia, WA 98504-3430. *
*Effective November 4, 2015, Argosy University, Seattle is no longer enrolling new students. Questions should be addressed to the student’s Seattle campus student advisor.
The following updates apply to Section Nine, College of Behavioral Sciences
The College of Behavioral Sciences at Argosy University will now be known as the College of Counseling, Psychology and Social Sciences.
Other Student Charges
The admission application fee ($50) was moved to program related fees and now applies to the College of Clinical Psychology only.
