PP 7311 - Diagnostic Psychopathology3 credit hour(s) This course focuses on the description, etiology, and diagnosis of psychological and personality disorders. Relevant clinical research is reviewed. While the primary focus of this course is the DSM-IV diagnostic system, other systems of understanding may be considered. Discussion of the broad continuum of symptomatology encountered in clinical practice, and the unique personal experience that characterizes every clinical case, are included. Prerequisite(s): (ATL) undergraduate abnormal psychology course.
