PP 8470 - Adult Development and Aging3 credit hour(s) This course concentrates on the health development of the individual personality during the second half of the lifespan, from early adulthood through the process of aging. Theories and empirical literature relevant to the biological, cognitive/intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and transcultural dimensions of personality development are examined. The normative path of individuation is the subject of the course, with some consideration, through class presentations, given to the genesis and epigenesis of psychopathology.
