PP 7368 - Initial Interviewing Skills1.5 credit hour(s) This course offers students the opportunity to learn basic listening and interviewing skills, as well as how to conduct a full clinical interview as part of the initial assessment. The course will also focus on a range of initial interviewing skills including the establishment of the therapeutic relationship, gathering and organizing diagnostic and assessment data, and developing initial treatment recommendations. Through demonstrations, role-playing, and structured exercises, students will practice and develop these skills.
