B6004 - E-Business Applications3 credit hour(s) This course is designed to introduce students to the dynamic world of Internet-based business/E-Business. Topics focus on the conceptual framework of Internet-based commerce for Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and Business-to-Business (B2B) computer systems, and how they integrate with organizational objectives. Students explore the implications of key information technologies used within and across businesses to conduct e-business, including customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, online ordering and inventory management, supply chain management, e-procurement systems, data warehousing, data mining, intra-extranets, and knowledge management. Applied work provides hands-on application of programming and software development skills.
