CJA498 - Contemporary Issues in Criminal Justice3 credit hour(s) Constantly changing patterns and types of crime face criminal justice practitioners of the 21st century. This course is designed to explore and enhance understanding of the risk factors and vulnerability associated with the rise of computer technology crimes, identification theft, increasing threat of domestic and foreign terrorism, biological and other weapons of mass destruction, hates crimes, human smuggling, drug trafficking, and corrections issues among others.
