DEN190 - Dental Hygiene III

1 credit hour(s)
This course is structured to review the basics in correct technique for periodontal instrumentation. In addition, students will develop advanced hand instrumentation skills utilized in scaling and root planing and ultrasonic power tools. The placement of oral therapeutics, sutures, periodontal dressings, desentization agents and the care of dental implants will be also be addressed.
