B7440 - Managing Global Challenges

This course provides an in-depth review of research and practice relevant to rapidly evolving global challenges faced by businesses. Students assess domestic and international social, political, and economic landscapes, as well as the impact of technology on the global business environment. The effect of differing values and cultures is evaluated in cross-cultural communication and business operations. Students identify trends in globalization and recommend decision-making strategies to turn global business challenges into opportunities while taking into account the needs of diverse stakeholders ethically and responsibly. Relevant research results are used to approach global business leadership, collaboration, and workforce development in the context of socially responsible multinational corporations.
