CJA 225 - Criminal Court System3 credit hour(s) This course analyzes the various components and participants in the American criminal court system, including the roles of prosecuting and defense attorneys, judges, jurors and witnesses. The course also explores judicial procedures involving arraignments, preliminary, evidentiary, and other pretrial hearings, trials and post trial hearings, as well as the types and functions of specialized courts.
