Overview


The Fundamentals of Management certificate program is designed for students who wish to pursue an education in the basic areas of management, but do not currently wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree in management. Classes are selected from the core requirements of the Argosy University Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration degree program.  Upon completion of the certificate, graduates will have improved their ability to understand and communicate business concepts within the discipline areas studied, as well as extended their competencies in critical thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

Admission Requirements


  • Proof of high school graduation
  • Two letters of recommendation (recommendations from  past or present employers are preferred)

The certificate programs are not normally available to students on international student visas. All applications for admission must be submitted to the Admissions Department. An admissions representative will help interested applicants complete the following required documentation:

  • Completed Application for Admission Form
  • Application Fee (non-refundable, except in California and Arizona.  In the state of Arizona, the application fee is refundable if the application is canceled within three business days of the applicant signing the Enrollment Agreement.)
  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended
  • Proof of high school graduation or GED

Certificate Requirements


Students are required to take 12 credit hours or 4 courses as outlined below.
