CHM100 - General Chemistry3 credit hour(s) This foundation course introduces the student to basic chemistry concepts and medical terminology essential to understanding some medical concepts. Atomic theory, the periodic table, chemical bonding, chemical formulas and names, diffusion, osmosis, pH, buffer systems, electrolytes, ionization, and equilibrium are some basic chemistry topics.
